2016 North Olmsted Ice Show

The City of North Olmsted is proud to announce the hosting of its 15th annual ice show. This show will take place on Friday May 20 – Sunday May 22, 2016. All skaters wishing to tryout for the 2016 North Olmsted Ice Show may do so on Saturday February 20, 2016. Tryouts will consist of placing skaters in appropriate groups, according to Age, Size & Skating Ability. ALL SKATERS TRYING OUT WILL BE PLACED IN A SHOW NUMBER! Tryouts are open to all skaters of all ages.
Show Dates & Times
This year’s show will feature four (4) performances, which will be at the following times
Friday May 20 8:00 PM General Admission
Saturday May 21 2:00 PM General Admission
Saturday May 21 8:00 PM General Admission
Sunday May 22 3:00 PM General Admission
Ice Show Costs
Due to the tremendous expense of hosting a show of this size, skaters will assume some of the operating cost associated with the show. Each skater will be responsible for selling 10 tickets at $10 each. Families with multiple skaters must sell 15 tickets per family. Tickets must be paid for by May 1, 2016. The second fee is a costume fee. Skaters will be charged $60, actual cost for the show costume. The Elite group will perform in two numbers with a costume cost of $120. Costumes will be the skater's to keep once the show is completed. Costume fees will be due the second practice.
Practice Times
Practices will begin the week of March 7th and run through show week. Practice will be held once a week and run between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the age of the group. Each skater is expected to attend all weekly practices. Group practices will be the follow days and times:
Solo/Specialty Numbers
All skaters wishing to be in a solo or specialty number must also participate in a group number. Tryouts for solos will take place in early April. Solo requirements and rules are posted on the website www.GetOnTheIce.com
