Program Ads
The deadline for program ads is this Friday. I am extending the deadline to Wednesday May 11. Attached is a copy of the program add form. If you have a business you would like to advertise or you would like to publish a Patron Ad for $10.00, please have this turned into the Recreation Center's Front desk by Wednesday the 11th.
We publish 500 programs for the show, with an attendance last year of 2200 ticket holders. Your support of the program, with ads, helps us keep the program sale price low. Last year we raised enough money in program ads to give each skater a copy of the program. Please help us do that again this year.
Costumes
Because of the timing of our show, our costume order was placed right after our first practice in March. Costumes will arrive the week of the show and be passed out at the Wednesday Technical Rehearsal. I still have just a couple costume fees missing for the show. Please have those paid for this week.
Tickets
Show tickets are ready to be picked up. Each skater is responsible for the sale of 10 tickets at the reduced rate of $10 each. Families with multiple children must sell 15 tickets. You are also able to purchase additional tickets at the reduced rate up, until show week. All tickets must be paid for by May 14th.
Posters
Posters are to arrive at the rink this evening. If you have a place to hang a poster, please pick one up from me in the evenings.
Program Photos
I will be taking photos for the ice show program beginning this week at practice. Please dress your skaters in a nice outfit for the photos as these will be the photos representing your child in the show.
Formal Photos & Video
Formal show photos will be taken on Saturday May 21st during the show. We will also be having the Saturday night show video taped. These composed portraits and DVD videos will be for sale. I will have that information along with the order forms for both, shortly.
Volunteers
We are in need of volunteers to help out with this year's show. As we did last year, you may sign up to help on Sign-up Genius. The web address is as follows: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d4eafaf2fa6f58-north
All of the good volunteer positions disappear quickly, so I would sign-up within the next 24 hours to reserve your spot. A volunteers meeting will be scheduled shortly.
